	Little Beginners Daycare has been operating in Alexandria, VA since 1992. We are a State Licensed Facility, providing care for children 3 months through 5 years of age. Our goal is to always maintain a safe and nurturing environment for children to play and learn. We have 2 nursery rooms, 1 activity room for infants and toddlers, 1 activity room for preschoolers and a fenced-in playground with plenty of shaded areas for play. We offer 3 nutritious meals a day: breakfast, a homemade lunch and snack.

	All of our staff meets the State Licensing Requirements of Virginia for child care providers. Our staff is certified in infant and pediatric CPR and First Aid, we also have staff certified in MAT. All staff is also required to obtain continuing education credits or participate in professional development training annually. We perform Criminal Background Checks and a Central Registry Check to all employees. Our Philosophy: At Little Beginners, we believe in the importance of teaching all children in a bilingual setting. Children have the natural ability to start speaking a foreign language and early exposure to any language triggers this inborn talent in a child. This “window of opportunity” happens effortlessly and is critical between the ages of 1-12. In keeping true to our philosophy, we have designed fun and enriching daily activities to engage and motivate our children to learn in all areas using Spanish and English.
